Southern Illinois Corvette

I am looking for a 1969 Corvette in Southern Illinois.

Do you have my old Corvette?

Southern Illinois Corvette

I want to repurchase my old Corvette that I had back in the 1970’s.  In fact I want to repurchase two Corvettes.  One was physically in my garage, the other one was bought from under me as I was on the way to purchase it.  Photo of 1969 Corvette is an example and not the exact car that I want to repurchase.

These cars are both 1969 Corvettes.  Both of them are black coupes.  They both have 427 engines.  Let me give you more information:

First car:

  • 1969 Corvette Coupe
  • 427/435hp engine
  • 4-speed transmission
  • N14 factory side exhaust
  • American Racing 200S Daisy aluminum wheels
  • Black with white racing stripe
If you own a 1969 Corvette that fits this description, or know where it is located, please contact me below.

Second Car:

  • 1969 Corvette Coupe
  • 427/390hp engine
  • TH400 Automatic transmission
  • Speed Warning Indicator
  • Rear Defogger
  • Tilt/Telescopic steering wheel
  • N14 Factory Side Exhaust
  • Front Fender Louver Trim
  • Alarm System
  • Power Steering
  • Power Brakes
  • Power Windows
  • AM/FM Radio
  • Trim Tag: Paint 980  Trim ZQ4 or STD
Original Owner lived in Washington Missouri and owned this car until the 1975/1976 time period. The car was sold with all of its original dealership paperwork and its Protect-O-Plate.  A St. Louis Missouri professional repainted this Corvette black in 1976 and then I sold it to an individual from Carbondale Illinois. This black Corvette was used to help organize and build a southern Illinois Corvette club in the late 1970’s into the early 1980’s.  The 1976/1977 owner was a Carbondale High School graduate who was a carpet installer by trade.  He also drove an early to mid sixties black Ford Falcon Ranchero with a 4X4 conversion kit and a lift kit.  Some members of the Carbondale High School classes of 1972 and 1973 remember a schoolmate who was crazy about Corvettes, but they have been unable to locate this individual.
If you recognize or remember the name of this person that I have described from Carbondale Illinois, and you have his contact information, please contact me.  I will make it worth your while.
If you recognize this Corvette, and you know where it is located, please contact me.

I am offering  CASH rewards to any individuals who help me locate and purchase either of the Corvettes described here on my site.
