Vintage Corvettes

There are thousands of Vintage Corvettes out there which have been in storage for a number of years.  Many known 1956-1970 Corvettes which were often seen in communities or were seen at Corvette Club events from the seventies and early eighties have simply vanished.  They were never publicly advertised for sale and they were never privately sold from one Corvette Club Member to another Corvette Club Member.  These cars have been stashed away since leaded gasoline vanished from gas stations. I have personally witnessed this in my life.

Tell me about your Vintage Corvette

Vintage Corvette

I would be honored to hear stories about your vintage Corvette that has not been seen in decades.  I’m positive that many of you intend to restore your vintage Corvette back to its original beauty.   But for those of you who are not able to, or are not in a position to restore your car, please drop me a note in the Contact Form at the bottom of this page.  I have a special interest in Corvettes that have colorful histories.  The cars that I am talking about are not the highest horsepower or the most expensive cars. But rather, those which have been in the care of a person or a family that has fond memories of the events which were experienced with their vintage Corvette.

I would like to purchase a Vintage Corvette

Vintage Corvette

I am interested in making a purchase at fair market price for a Corvette with documentation.  The type of documentation that I am referring to would be original dealership paperwork, old registrations, service receipts, old photos, etc.  As you probably know, I enjoy all vintage Corvettes.  The experience of owning and restoring a Corvette is indescribable for me.  It’s more than an experience, it’s an honor.

I might be interested in buying your Corvette.

If I were to narrow down the model years of the cars that I have a special interest in, I would have to say 1965 to 1971. Those are my most favorite model years.
Please don’t forget that I wrote a Corvette Racing Book.  So I am always interested in hearing from families who have former SCCA Corvette race cars and former NHRA Corvette drag racing cars. I would love to hear from you too!  If you have been thinking about selling your old Corvette race car, I might be interested in buying it!
Some of you might have a car that you might think has minimal value. Maybe it’s not original. It might have been customized. Perhaps it has a weird looking hood and fenders. There might be a big racing stripe down the middle of the car.  Those are all fine with me. It’s the history and the experience that these cars have been through that I find most fascinating. These stories belong in a book!

Please contact me with the form that I have placed below.  I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
